International OPEN Participants from Austria and abroad are welcome. Total judgment of general classes and separate judgment in the age group senior (born in 1986 or earlier), age group junior (born 2006 up to 2008) and cadets (born 2009 up to 2011)

MODE

In all weapons men and women fence together. Men and women are ranked separately. There is a pre-round and a medium round with 4 to 7 fencers each. The total index of the two rounds decides the division in marathon pools with 16 fencers each. The last pool may consist of fewer fencers. 4 fencers form a group in which they fight against each other first and then against the other groups of the same marathon pool. In case of equality of victories of the first place in the first marathon-pool a play-off bout with 5 hits decides the winner of the tournament. The organizers may change the mode of the competition, for example only one index round with 6 to 7 fencers per pool in case of a high number of participants. Or if the number of participants is not higher than 20 there could be only one marathon pool with 20 fencers. For reason of organization there may even be separate men and women competitions.

REMARKS

With the notification, participants or their legal representatives declare that they will: The fencer or his/her legal representative agree to the publication of their names, clubs and birth years. The fencer or his/her legal representative agrees to the production, distribution and public display of image, sound and film recordings may be placed. The entrance of the gyms is only allowed with sneakers. A buffet is available! Fechtsport Martin is on site!
